Common reasons include missing or unsupported equipment (like no webcam), insufficient system resources, or security applications (firewall/antivirus) interfering with the exam platform.
Use a laptop or desktop; mobile phones and tablets are not supported.
Ensure your device has at least:
4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended).
10 GB free storage space.
A working webcam and microphone.
Test webcam and microphone before the exam:
On Windows: Press Windows Key + R → type mmsys.cpl for audio, or open Camera App to test webcam.
On macOS: Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera/Microphone → ensure browser access is allowed.
If using an external webcam, make sure it is plugged in before launching the exam browser.
Delete unnecessary files and applications.
On Windows: Use Disk Cleanup or Storage Sense.
On macOS: Use About This Mac → Storage → Manage.
Ensure at least 10 GB free space for temporary exam files.
Close all non-essential applications before the exam.
On Windows: Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) → End high CPU usage apps.
On macOS: Use Activity Monitor → quit heavy apps.
Some security software may block exam browser functions.
On Windows:
Open Windows Security → Firewall & Network Protection.
Allow the exam browser through firewall settings.
On macOS:
Go to System Settings → Network → Firewall Options.
Ensure the exam browser is allowed.
Always restart your device before starting the exam to refresh system memory and clear temporary blocks.
Borrow or arrange a proper laptop/desktop in advance if you don’t have one.
Avoid shared/public computers as they may have restrictions.
Always plug in your charger; don’t rely on low battery power.
Update your operating system and browser to the latest version before the exam.
